Salvation Through Jesus Christ

What Is Salvation?

Salvation is the most important invitation you will ever receive. It’s not about religion, rules, or being perfect—it’s about a relationship with a loving God who created you, knows you, and desires to rescue you from sin and lead you into a life of purpose, peace, and eternity with Him. We all fall short. We all carry brokenness. But the Good News—the Gospel—is that Jesus Christ came into the world to save us. Through His death on the cross, burial, and resurrection, He made a way for us to be forgiven of our sins, made new, and brought into God's glorious, diverse, and eternal family.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16 KJV)

Salvation is for All. Jesus Christ died for everyone—regardless of ethnicity, background, social class, age, or status. His sacrifice broke every barrier, offering eternal life to all who believe.

Salvation is not about heritage or circumstance; it's about a decision—a personal choice to believe in Him, receive His love, and walk in relationship with our precious Lord and Savior. Let’s stop guessing whether we’re saved. Instead, know in your heart and confess with your mouth: Jesus is Lord

This isn’t religion. It’s redemption. It’s a relationship rooted in grace, open to all, and sealed by love.

Why Do We Need Salvation?

The Bible says, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23 KJV). Sin separates us from God. But God, in His mercy and love, provided a bridge—Jesus.

Jesus said, "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6 KJV) He paid the price for our sin so that we could receive the gift of eternal life.

How Do I Receive Salvation?

Salvation is a gift—you don’t earn it; you receive it by faith:

  1. Admit that you need God and recognize your sin.

  2. Believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who died and rose again for you.

  3. Confess Him as Lord and surrender your life to Him.

Romans 10:9-10 says, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

A Prayer of Salvation

You can begin this journey with a simple, heartfelt prayer:

“Lord Jesus, I believe that You are the Son of God. That you love me and came into the world, died on the cross and rose again for the forgiveness of my sin. I admit that I am a sinner and I’m sorry for my sins. Please forgive me and come into my life. Please fill me with your Holy Spirit and help me to follow you as Lord of my life. Thank you for saving me and giving me eternal life. In Jesus Christ name I pray, Amen."

Have you backslidden and feel distant from God—but long to come home?

Recite this prayer:

Lord Jesus, I come back to You with a repentant heart. I’ve wandered, but Your love has never let me go. Forgive me for turning away, and cleanse me from all that separates me from You. I surrender again—my heart, my will, my life. Restore in me the joy of Your salvation and lead me in Your truth. I choose You today and forever. Amen.

“Turn, O backsliding children, saith the Lord; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion.” – KJV
